Semi-formal
To create an elegant and cohesive atmosphere, we would love for our guests to dress in semi-formal attire.
👗 For ladies, we suggest mid-calf or tea-length dresses for an elegant semi-formal look.
👔 For gentlemen, a blazer or suit is recommended, with colours that complement the soft, elegant palette.
⭐️ Please note: To keep the overall look harmonious, we kindly ask our guests to avoid white (reserved for the bride 👰🏻♀️) and black dresses (traditionally worn for mourning). Gentlemen are, of course, welcome to wear white shirts or black suits.
🥂 While the venue has a beautiful English manor vibe (you can find out more about the venue here), and outfits inspired by that style are encouraged, they are by no means required. Please feel free to choose whichever level of semi-formal attire feels most comfortable for you – especially as the weather may be warmer in the summer.
💙 Our wedding party will be dressed more formally, but for our guests, it’s entirely up to you how dressed-up you’d like to be. If you enjoy dressing up, you are very welcome to do so! Here’s a Pinterest board with outfit inspiration, and you can always reach out to us with any questions.

How to get there
There are a few options…
Our Bus
This is the best option. We will organise a bus from London with enough space for everyone – but we’re still confirming details.
By Car
If you’re travelling from London, take the M11 and pass through Braintree up to the venue. It.s a ~1.5 hour trip from Central London
By Train
Recommended route: Get to the Stratford or Liverpool Street stations and take a direct train to Braintree. It is then a quick 10 min cab from Braintree to the venue

Our venue has limited on-site accommodation, so close family, wedding party and young international travellers will be prioritised.
